Mississippi Industrial Heritage Museum at historic Soule' Steam Feed Works brings the concept of S.T.E.A.M. Makers to the students and visitors. The Museum continues to develop fun and interesting events, activities and exhibitions that focus on science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. As the host of Mississippi's the first Maker Faire, we continue to offer family-friendly hand-on activities that gives everyone an opportunity to meet local and regional Makers — crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, authors, artists, students, inventors, photographers, tech enthusiasts, and entrepreneurs. Everyone comes together to show their projects and to share what they have learned. This experience inspires everyone to become a Maker and maybe even more. It is held at historic Soule’ Steam Feed Works—where the past, present and future can be imagined.
